Maggie is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at The University of Chicago. She studies money in politics, with a specific interest in the processes, people, and firms behind political influence. Informed by her substantive interest, her methodological work primarily concerns generating new data and empirical strategies to further observational causal inference.

Maggie currently serves as the replication assistant for the Quarterly Journal of Political Science and the graduate student coordinator for the Quantitative Methods Workshop hosted by her home department.

Maggie holds a BA in Government and Statistical & Data Sciences from Smith College. Before moving to Chicago, she directed public affairs campaigns in Washington, DC.
